She is involved with this firm as a senior Consultant. She has more than 20 years of extensive experience in conducting socio-economic surveys, economic analysis, state and local government finance, economic development, fiscal analysis and economic review, creating enabling environment in municipal management, training and capacity building. Her Ph.D, thesis titled, “Provision of Finance and Management in selected towns of NCR – Elements of Relative Subsidy in Basic Services”, dealt with estimation of subsidy in the cost of urban infrastructure within
As an economist she was involved in preparing Bihar Development Report and Delhi Development Report, with major thrust on review of the existing situation and estimating future growth trend. She was also responsible for writing report on state income and expenditure and economic analysis for the same.
As Economic Advisor for Evaluation of UNICEF sponsored UBSP projects in slums of Baroda, Bhilwara, Sambalpur and Siliguri, her task was to conduct primary survey of 1200 slum households for assessing the existing problems in these slums and develop economic measures for eradication of these problems. She has more than 6 years of experience in this field. She is associated with this frim since May 2005 as consultant. She has been Involved in preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment and Management Plans, Urban Assessment, Analysis of data and issues, Preparation / Review of reports, Spatial analysis through use of GIS, Arc-View and Autocad, Proposal writing, Preparation and delivery of Presentations, Coordination with Client and team members, Guidance to support-consultants, Consultation, Stakeholder meetings.
As a Consultant she was involved in the preparation of Guidelines for GTZ and CPCB. She was also involved in the World Bank,ADB projects that was undertaken by the firm. She was also involved in the Disaster Management Plan for Noida and Greater Noida, and EIA Projects: Fashion Technology Park,Mohali,Birsa Munda International Airport, Ranchi,and NSCBI,Airport,kolkata.
